        John has his own business. He is in the first year of operation and has a very limited dollar budget for additional associates. John’s business is primarily conducted through the Internet and has been growing at a steady pace. John’s wife,Mary, helps out when she can,but with a 2 year old,a 6 month baby and a 20 hour per week part-time job, Mary has only a limited time to help with the books. Mary has suggested to John that he start to use a business checkbook register  to keep better track of where the business is at with their bills and their receivables. It has really helped John out.
