Sometimes when you need information, you don’t like what you find. For me, the opportunity to search public records uncovered a lot of information I wish I never found. My boyfriend had been lying to me about all sorts of things in his past and I had that gut feeling that there was more to it than he was telling me. Sure enough, after my digging around I found out he had previous domestic violence charges, arrests, and other trouble with the law he had never told me about. I am glad I was able to search public records so I could end the relationship before I got hurt.
