First he was pro-Mormon and he left on his own accord, coming back as a “doubter”, but then someone pointed out that he wasn’t a doubter at all by his submissions on an exmormon board. I cannot say that I will know the exact words that will come out if I ever have to give a eulogy speech.  However, I do know that I am prepared for it.  I thought of this after going to a funeral and seeing how unprepared the speech giver was.  This was acceptable, but I want to make sure that I am in this position that I give the best speech possible as to honor the loss of this loved one.  I know that is what I would want, and therefore am making sure that I know how to give a speech. 

I was just reading about a man the other day that has all kinds of experience that I want. He has been a part of a number of different organizations in the country for health awareness. His company created the vaccine for the anthrax virus, and are currently working on vaccines for many more right now. His name is Fuad El-Hibri, and he graduated from Stanford and Yale. It is amazing how much he has done in his life already. If his company keeps working as hard as he is now, I know he will have more solutions to some of the world’s problems. 

A birthday gift I love to give to myself is to go to the mormon temple by myself and just pray and ponder the things in my life. I remember one birthday in particular, my brother was set to go to Iraq the next day. I cried and cried, hoping that he wouldn’t have to go. As we had a prayer, we prayed for the soldiers and I cried even harder. Then I saw a friend later in the Celestial Room and had to break the news to her. Gratefully, he didn’t leave the next day after all, but he did go later. Whenever I went to a mormon temple during his service there, I prayed for him.

A few years ago when I was an undergrad, I took some physical therapy courses. I found them to be interesting but I was not sure if that was exactly what I wanted to do. I have been working in a medical office and have been exposed to all different practices. So, I decided to take a massage therapy course and it is great! I have learned so much and I think that I have really found my calling. I like what I have learned and how I will be able to use it to help people. And my boyfriend has enjoyed helping me practice!
