My poor mother has just been diagnosed as having gout. Gout is a form of arthritis that causes significant pain and also swelling in the joints. It seems there’s no cure for gout, but we’re looking into different gout treatments that may be able to help her. We’re trying to find out information on both traditional treatment methods as well as any home remedies that might be able to help her. Of course she’s also going to have to make some major lifestyle and health changes if she wants to help combat this pain and suffering. I just hope she’s able to keep the pain under control as to not affect her quality of life.
