The most common places for the MRSA infection to occur is in the bloodstream, eyes, wounds and skin. The symptoms of a MRSA infections are very similar to that of a staph infection. Two of the most common symptoms include skin infections and pneumonia. The site of the skin infection will tend to be tender, warm, and red with round bumps. A wound will have severe pain and swelling. A person with a MRSA will also have a fever and chills. If someone has symptoms of a MRSA infection they should go to a doctor immediately.
