Architect Glasgow consist of programmable logic blocks
November 5th, 2009 . by adminArchitect Glasgow consist of programmable logic blocks which implement logic functions, programmable routing to interconnect these functions and I/O blocks to make off-chip connections.
This section will review trends in logic block architecture while programmable routing and I/O design will be considered in Sections five and six.
Although lots of the elemental challenges and issues in FPGAs involve programmable routing circuit design and architecture, the logic block architecture of an FPGA is also crucial because it has got a dramatic effect on how much programmable routing is necessary.
In this section, we discuss the basic trade-offs in logic block design design and the nomenclature wanted to describe it. Our research contains a debate of heterogeneous mixtures of different logic blocks.
