I Don’t Blame Him Anymore
September 29th, 2009 . by adminI used to harbor a lot of anger at my father. He didn’t support our family when I was growing up. He had a job, but he said that he couldn’t afford to feed us. My mom couldn’t say the same thing, so she went to work an hour away to put food on the table. I found out later, though, that student loans were the reason my father struggled so much. He had so many that he just couldn’t keep up. And he didn’t know that he could consolidate federal student loans to get a lower payment. Now that I know that, I can forgive him.
