I’ve Become My Mother
August 30th, 2009 . by adminAs a child, it seems you’d go insane if you heard your mother say the same thing yet again. You know, those cliche things that all mothers say, it seems. Wash your hands. Brush your teeth. Don’t fight with your sister. Stop running with the hair scissors. Shut the door. The funny thing is that when you become a mother yourself, it all makes sense. You start to appreciate the wisdom that your mother had and now spend most of your day driving your own kids up the wall with the same sayings. I’ve heard that the human race is the only species that can pass knowledge through generations. We learn from past history and not just what we’ve experienced. When you become a parent, you realize how true that is.
