My daughter got married yesterday. It was a beautiful wedding and, of course, I cried the whole way through it. But I know she’s ready for marriage, especially on the clothing front. You see, I took her out shopping two weeks ago to get her some “married woman” outfits. I wanted the trip to be special, so we went to only designer stores. We purchased two pair of nice jeans, three cocktail dresses, five shirts, and about four hundred pairs of shoes. My daughter was overwhelmed, and I was over-budget. But it was worth it because I knew it would be the last shopping trip I would ever take with her before she got married, and I wanted it to be memorable.
