Tumbling down
March 25th, 2009 . by adminYesterday, some of the little ‘angels’ that live in our neighborhood did something to the garden wall. I don’t know whether they sat on it, leant on it or kicked balls at it, but the poor old wall couldn’t take it and it fell down.To be fair, it wasn’t all the kids’ fault. It’s an ancient wall and the cold weather this winter has taken its toll. Getting it fixed was on the cards this year anyway, but not we need a builder to come fix it like… now!I hate trying to find builders and plumbers and tradespeople. It’s impossible to know whether they’re any good unless they’ve done some work for someone you know. And if they’re any good then they’re too busy to come round! Hopefully I can find a good recommendation soon; that wall ain’t gonna fix itself!
