I recently met a gal in a restaurant who was here in town working for free. She had signed up to volunteer abroad and she was here for 2 weeks from Australia. I find this an amazing opportunity and it almost sounds too good to be true. For her situation she had to be ready to go in a moments notice and she had the flexibility in her career to do that. I would like to find a position that had a little more time for notification but I would love to volunteer in a foreign country. What a great opportunity.
