Think it’s impossible to build a plane in your garage or shop?  Think again.  There are folks who have not only built flying aircraft from kits, but designed and crafted an experimental homebuilt aircraft from scratch.  While this is not a hobby for those without the proper skills and tools, it is far from impossible.  The great part about taking on such a project is that the possibilities are limitless when designing your own experimental aircraft.  While you may choose to follow a set of blueprints for starters, all of the decisions regading the building of the aircraft are up to you.
